Congratulations to all of you 8th graders who have/ will be graduating soon, you are now incoming freshman! Morton West High School looks forward to having you in the fall… Don’t forget to finish your summer reading project before the summer is up!

Do we hate to type everything or can we just answer them on the packet???
Just answer on the packet. No need to type.
where can i get the book online?
Do a google search… that would probably be your best option.

You do not have to type it out. If you would like to write out your answers on the packet, you may do so.
do we have to read one of the books on the list or can we read a book that another high school recommended?

What bout the cover page do we type that out?
You do not have to type out the cover page. You may design it by hand.
Can we work on it with a partner with similar answers? Can we read the book together since we’re doing the same book anyway?

Also I don’t get questions 6,17,and 26. What am i looking for. what do the passages have to be about?
12 font, Times New Roman. As far as the other questions, find passages from the novel (a quote will do) and write why you chose that particular quote.
I don’t understand how to find the tone of the author?
Tone is generally defined as the author’s position regarding what they wrote.
